The Itinerary of the Contemporary Churches is a cultural enhancement itinerary that combines art, music and architecture, within the Diocese of Milan. More than 50 churches, designed in the second half of the 20th century by famous architects, preserve works of art and promote concerts of sacred music.
Ideogramma has designed the brand and the communication materials of the project, creating a sign composed of the union of three primary geometric elements: the square for architecture, the triangle for art and the circle for music. Yellow is an important liturgical colour: it represents the gold that is used in the most solemn occasions.
The continuous composition and decomposition of these three elements creates a dynamic sign with multiple applications, including paper guides, thematic publications, and signs present in churches.
